R&B singer Bobby Valentino Shares His Opinion About Celebrity Relationships

Bobby Valentino doesn’t hold back when it comes to discussing relationships. In the latest issue of H.I.S. magazine the R&B singer gives his opinion on why Reggie Bush could never marry Kim Kardashian and why Tiny is the perfect woman for T.I.

It’s easily more accepted for a woman to go out with her man and he done chopped everyone in the club [than a woman doing the same]. Look at Reggie Bush. He can’t marry Kim Kardashian because she has a sex tape and she’s smashed a million dudes. Right? He can’t marry her. It’s not a good look. On the other hand, Reggie Bush has f*cked a lot of women. You think Kim Kardashian cares about that?

On why Tiny is perfect for T.I

An artist needs a woman that is understanding. A Woman who understands her man. I think that is why Tiny and T.I. are so good together. She knows her role. If women understand their place with an artist that’s great. Sometimes we have to flirt with women.

Former NBA Player Ray Williams Homeless?

After a 10 year career in the NBA, Ray Williams is homeless, living in a car that doesn’t run and eats out of soup kitchens 23 years later. According to the Boston Globe he is not on drugs, doesn’t abuse alcohol and doesn’t gamble. So…how does that happen?

No one has released any documentation to prove excessive spending or extravagant purchases but according to Bob Holer of the Boston Globe, when Williams filed for bankruptcy in 1994, he simply was “no longer able to sustain his NBA lifestyle.” It seems that for the most part his current situation has more to do with bad luck and bad money management.

Williams career lasted from 1977 to 1987 and he reporetdly made over $2 Million. He also recieved about $12,000 from the NBA Legends foundation in which he used to buy a condo on a lease to own contract which fell through.

Williams situation is a bit puzzling to me. I can’t help but wonder if anyone stepped in to help him. I’m sure at the height of his career, he was surrounded by a slew of people claiming to care about him and have his back. Where are they now? This could be a lesson to the new generation of NBA players that feel like they are on top of the world with an infinite amount of money. Although the average NBA player makes substantially more than the players in 1987, Williams proves that the money can run out just as fast as a career in the NBA. Oh and let’s not forget all of those people that surround them that claim to be their friends. Where will they be if it all comes crashing down?

Tiger Woods To Pay $750 Million in Divorce Settlement

The question that we all have been asking is finally answered. How much will Elin get in her divorce from Tiger Woods? The answer is ….a whooping $750 Million. Of course it comes with one condition, which is that they not go to the media now or any time in the near future.I’m sure for that amount she would have a problem with that. To top that off, she will also get full custody of the children. Tiger will be allowed to see the children only under the condition that he not bring any girlfriends around them.

Reportedly Tiger has already signed the papers but both Elin and Tiger will need to show up in court next week to finalize the divorce. According to other reports this is the biggest settlement in history.

There has been a lot of speculation on television and radio shows in the past about about the amount that Elin may get in her settlement but I don’t think that anyone ever expected such a large sum. I honestly believe that she deserves every cent of it. She has been through a nightmare and if the only thing that she can get out of it is monetary compensation then I’m glad that she will be walking away with way more than chump change. If Tiger didn’t learn his lesson from this, I’m pretty sure that he never will. We all know that Tiger Woods is very wealthy but $750 Million is enough to make even the richest man cringe.

Russian Genius Turns Down $1 Million After Solving The Poincare` Conjecture

In 2006 Russian Mathematician Grigory Perelman solved a math problem that scientist had been trying to figure out for over a century. After disappearing for years, the Clay Mathematics Institute (CMI) of Cambridge, Massachusetts finally decided to provide the 43-year-old mathematician monetary compensation for his work in the sum of $1 million , but he declined. If thats not strange enough, after solving one of the most difficult math problem in the world, aka the Poincare` Conjecture, Perelman disappeared for years and was found living in poverty with his mother. It is reported that he has also rejected several job offers from major universities.

On Thursday CMI offered Perelman the $1 million but he simply refused it. A spokesperson for CMI said, “CMI will make an announcement of how the prize money will be used to benefit mathematics.” Perelman was also awarded the Fields Award, the most prestigious award in mathematics but never showed up to accept. A three day symposium in Paris celebrating the proof the Poincare` Conjecture went on with no sign of Perelman.

“I have refused,” Interfax, a Russian news agency, quoted him as saying. “You know, I had quite a lot of reasons both for and against. That is why I took so long to make up my mind.”

While researching this topic, I couldn’t help but to think about the movie “A Beautiful Mind”. The main character of that movie was a genius but suffered from schizophrenia. I can’t assume that Grigory Perelman is dealing with that same mental illness but it makes me wonder how much a person has to give up if anything to be a genius. Do they focus so much on one particular aspect of their life that they lose touch with reality? When I think of people that are considered geniuses in their field of work, I think of people that have had major mental breakdowns at some point. Idk…it’s just a thought.

I’m sure that whatever his reasons for not accepting the money are reasons that make a lot of sense to him. Hey… if everyone thought the same the world would be a boring place.
