iPod, iMac, iPhone, iPad?

Yes, iPad! Apple CEO Steve Jobs presented the iPad Wed with a live launch event in San Francisco.

But, before he unveiled this phenomenal invention, he spoke about his companies success, revealing some pretty huge numbers.  According to Jobs, Apple has sold over 250 million iPods and now features 140,000 applications with over 3 billion applications sold.  And, with over $50 billion a year in revenue, Apple is the largest mobile device company in the world, surpassing Sony, Samsung and Nokia.

Without wasting any time, Apple is bringing in 2010 with a brand new device called the iPad.  The iPad is sort of like a cross between a laptop and a smartphone.  You can browse the web with great speed, watch videos, view photos and check emails all with the touch of a fingertip.

The iPad is very light, weighing only 1.5 pounds and is only .5 inches thin.  This device features a 9.7 inch IPS display and contains 10 hours of battery life with over a month of standby life.  Now lets talk prices.

Pricing is as follows; 16GB $499, 32GB $599, 64GB $699 with an extra $130 for 3g models.  Apple will be shipping iPads worldwide in 60 days and 90 days for 3g models.  3g models will be unlocked and ATT will be offering to data plans.  One plan for $14.99/m and unlimited data for $29.99/m with no contracts.

In a move of good gesture, France has canceled and forgave Haiti of all debts incurred between the two nations. Maybe more nations will follow in France’s footsteps. While nations from all around the world are still pouring into the devastated country with aid and man-power, the rescue efforts have not ceased. There have been numerous accounts of people still being rescued alive recently. In a sadder note, the death toll has been estimated at 200,000.  My prayers still go out to Haiti and anyone that has been effected by the disaster.

Scott Brown Did It… The Impossible. Is It A Sign Of Things To Come?

The Massachusetts Senate race was concluded today with the big underdog, Republican Scott Brown, pulling off the “epic” victory.  In a state where no Republican Senator had been elected in 50 years, where democrats out number republicans 3 to 1, a republican is not supposed to be the one filling the seat of the late Ted Kennedy. The democrats have many reasons and excuses for why they did not win here. Is this a fluke, or is this the people telling those in power that they are fed up? What will the Senate elections this November look like? Is this a shift in political power?

Weigh in!

Scott Brown wins Massachusetts special election for U.S. Senate.

I still can not get enough of this…. It is down right hilarious

Larry Platt. Catchy song!
LYRICS:
Pants on the ground
Pants on the ground
Lookin like a fool with your pants on the ground
Gold in your mouth
Hat turned sideways, pants hit the ground
Call yourself a cool cat looking like a fool
Walking down town (2nd time say Talkin’)
With your pants on the ground!

Even Brett Favre is down
