Lady Gaga arriving for her Monster Ball concert at Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan, New York on January 24, 2010. This is the final night of her 4 concerts run. Fame Pictures, Inc

The nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards have been announced and Lady Gaga leads with a whooping 13 nominations, not including her collaborations with Beyonce for Video Phone, which brings her total nominations to 16.  Of course,  heavy hitters Jay-Z, Beyonce, Usher and Eminem have also received several nominations. Surprisingly, Rihanna only received one nomination for the ‘editing’  of her ‘Rude Boy’ video. Wow!
